Tracy Gould Sheinin has worked in the conflict resolution field for more than two decades. She has put her extensive training and experience to use on varying levels, including helping families navigate difficult situations such as divorce; working with businesses and organizations to manage conflict, improve relations, and productivity; and, facilitating with associations as they create and develop into their visions.
Tracy’s strengths lie in listening carefully to clients, helping them identify their key interests, and then moving into realistic plans of action. In true mediation fashion, the listening and planning are done without judgment and always with the client’s best interests in fowcus. She has training, experience, and certification in several different areas of conflict resolution, which lend to a multi-faceted and flexible approach making outcomes individualized to each situation.
Tracy has a B.A. in Psychology with cognate in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a M.A. in Peace Studies with a focus on Conflict Resolution from the McGregor School of Antioch University. She was the founding President/CEO of the Community Mediation Center of Columbia, SC and the founding chair of the Association for Conflict Resolution South Carolina Chapter. She is a member of the Academy of Family Mediators and is registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Tracy is certified in General Mediation and Domestic Mediation including Domestic Violence and Parent Coordination. Tracy is currently the owner of Clarity Mediation, LLC located in Atlanta, GA.
