Dr. Alejandro “Alex” Navarrete-Aguilar is the clinical director of the Counseling Institute of Atlanta. He is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor and has a Doctor of Psychology degree from California Southern University. He is originally from Lima, Peru, and currently works as a care manager for the National Health Management Association of Georgia and as the head facilitator for the Building Strong Families Program for the Latin American Association of Georgia. His previous work experience includes teaching at Stone Mountain High School, head counselor/school psychologist at Inmaculada School in Lima, Peru, and a family therapist at the Family Institute of Lima.
