William Smith, LCSW

William A. Smith, LCSW (He/Him/His) is a passionate therapist who is dedicated to making the highest quality mental health care available accessible in Georgia.

A native of Atlanta, Will earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and then completed his Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at The University of Washington in Seattle. He also completed a year of service with AmeriCorps, volunteering as a full-time mentor and tutor with children identified as high-risk for dropping out of school.

Will has worked in a variety of fields of mental healthcare, including both juvenile and adult court systems, schools, hospitals, and outpatient mental health. He also provides clinical supervision for associate level therapists working towards their independent license, as well as clinical and administrative consultation for behavioral health and medical professionals.

Will works primarily in forensics at this time, including guardianship and conservatorship evaluations, mediation, child custody evaluations, parent coordination, and also works with personal injury attorneys, criminal defense attorneys, and clients in the juvenile court system. He is also contracted to serve as an expert witness in family law cases where the children are physically located in a different state, but the court case is taking place in Georgia.
